What is a Hamam?

A Hamam is a type of steam bath or place of public bathing associated with the Ala Mhigan World. The significance of a Hamam is both spiritual and civic: it provides for the needs of ritual ablutions, general hygiene, as well as a gendered meeting place for men and for women.In a modern Hamam, visitors undress themselves while retaining some sort of modesty garment or loincloth, and proceed into progressively hotter rooms, inducing perspiration. They are then usually washed by male or female staff with the use of soap and vigorous scrubbing, before ending by rinsing themselves in cold water._{(If you wish to be washed by a specific gender we do accommodate that.)}~

House of Folly [hamam & spa] is a SFW Venue that offers NSFW Private Room Services. We are an LGBT+ encouraged location that offers a uniquely romantic venue for narrative-focused and deeply immersive roleplay. No purchase of a bath is necessary to simply enjoy the venue itself and its splendor! Whether you are here to find romance or friendship, develop your character's narrative, or just socialize and relax, our Hamam is the perfect spot to soothe your WoL and scratch your creative writing itch.

This classic cocktail is made with rum, cream of coconut, and pineapple juice. Served in a coconut cup sourced from our own coconut trees, it is then garnished with a pineapple slice and sprig of mint.

White Citrus Sangria

White wine mulled with lemon, lime, strawberries and agave syrup. This refreshing wine is crisp and perfect for a hot summer or after a hot bath.

Realm Reborn Red

Top-Shelf red wine sourced from the finest wineries in Eorzea.

Caipirinha

This crisp cocktail is made with muddled lime and sugar, ice cubes, and Cachaça and is served in an old-fashioned glass with a lime garnish.

Espresso Martini

This sophisticated cocktail is made with vodka, coffee liquor, and espresso. It is served in a chilled coupe glass and garnished with espresso beans.

1. House of Folly is a SFW Venue upon entry. That means FULL NUDITY and EXPLICIT NSFW conversation is NOT PERMITTED in the main areas of the house. MODDED PLAYERS, please equip a bathing suit or the vanilla smallclothes before entering the downstairs hamam. If you are fully nude on your mod in any main area of the house, you will be banned from the venue. Modded nudity is, however, permitted in our Private Chambers after having purchased one of our NSFW services. Please use our showers to change into your vanilla nude or bathing suit for the downstairs hamam/upstairs cabana.2. While we are SFW upon entry, massages are inherently intimate and we do also offer more involved NSFW services, which means this is an 18+ (21+ preferred) venue. No minors are permitted.3. No running in the Hamam. House of Folly will not be held legally liable for any injuries as the result of a slip or fall. (Please protect our immersive atmosphere.)4. We ask that patrons please refrain from using /yell or /shout text commands in the venue. These commands are used for event announcement purposes by venue staff.5. Harassment of Venue Staff will result in permanent ban from the venue. Please be respectful of others and mind your manners. This includes no hate speech.6. NSFW services must be purchased via our Mannequins. This is how we firstly confirm consent before any kind of NSFW service is performed. For a male attendant, select "Services-m"; for a female attendant, select "Services-f."7. Please DO NOT ENTER any Private Chambers that do not possess the "Visitors Welcome" tag unless you have purchased the relevant NSFW service for that room. Otherwise, our Private Chambers that do have the "Visitors Welcome" tag are open to all who wish to explore them.8. We do not offer any SFW Massage nor NSFW services for members of the Lalafell race. We do, however, still offer our Signature Bathing to Lalafell if they so wish. But please be understanding of the fact that some staff members may not be comfortable with bathing Lalafells, thus, options may be limited in regards to who will be willing to bathe Lalafell.9.
